I am a purpose driven high schooler who is committed to make a difference in our society. While our school provides us with a great learning platform, I have always been excited about applying our knowledge for the betterment of our community. To me this is about connecting people, building a broader perspective of the world we live in and extending a helping hand to the people in need. In our lifetime, we are facing several significant challenges ranging from climate change to the pandemic. Our community needs warriors like us more than ever now to create social awareness, promote diversity, campaign for sustainability and advocate for peace. We have launched this initiative to drive change for the better across four dimensions namely health, education, environment, and community outreach, with technology as the underpinning platform. Besides this, I am an accomplished violinist with several awards & accolades at the state and national level as well as a nationally ranked junior Tennis player in the United States Tennis Association ecosystem. Through my extensive travels for my sport and music programs, I have made friends with several people from different spheres of life. Listening to them gives me conviction that our future can be safe, secure, and inclusive, if only we, today’s youth, come together and exhibit leadership for wider social causes. We hope our one small step will one day become a giant agent of change and we will be able to give back to the society we live in and owe so much.

I am a passionate high school honors student at John P Stevens High School who is keen to contribute to society through active participation. Since middle school years, I have actively participated in community building activities by volunteering for local organizations. I realized that today’s teenagers need a platform to come together and be part of activities that help building stronger communities. Our Community Warriors is an initiative to build a platform which will contribute to the causes in the area of health, wellness, education and hunger. Besides studies, I am a member of MODEL UN Club, which helps me learn in the area of policy making and debate through active participation in conferences. I also demonstrate a key interest in science and technology and I am part of the school’s Science Bowl team. My other interests include playing basketball, football and also love to play guitar.

I am a goal-oriented freshman at South Brunswick High School who is determined to give back to our community. From a young age, I have been observing my life around me. Through this, I have realized how fortunate I am. Our Community Warriors is an initiative launched to help less fortunate members of our community. By giving back we can help our society develop into a bigger and brighter future. In addition to my passion for helping others, I enjoy playing the piano. I have been playing for the past 7 years and the relentless hours practicing has brought me levels of discipline I did not have before. Additionally, I run track and cross country at my high school. Through the many ups and downs of athletics, I have realized that things don’t come easy though if you work through your struggles with grit and determination, the fruits of labor will most definitely come to fruition. My goal through Our Community Warriors is to help as many people get back on their feet as possible. Through the recent historical events, loads of people are in need. I am positive our combined effort will lead to a much better and beaming future for all of us.
